We are a small family farm located in rural Columbia County, Arkansas near the town of Magnolia that specializes in grass-fed and corn-finished beef as well as market vegetables.
We are a small family farm located in rural Columbia County, Arkansas near the town of Magnolia that specializes in grass-fed and corn-finished beef as well as market vegetables.
We promote biodiversity and sustainability on our farm and encourage others to do the same. We recycle nutrients back into the soil. Manure and waste hay is composted and recycled back into the fields and pastures thus increasing plant nutrients and organic matter to the soil. Our pastured hens freely roam the pastures searching for bugs for a little added protein to their diet. They also scatter the dry cow patties out while searching for bugs and at the same time apply their "fertilizer" to the pastures, thus helping the grass grow and eliminating the need to add commercial fertilizer and pesticides to the pastures. So, the cattle and chickens have a symbiotic relationship!
We are certified through the BQA (Beef Quality Assurance) program and utilize rotational grazing techniques to get the most out of our pastures, thus providing grass for cattle and healthy soil and a member of the American Pasture Poultry Association (APPA).
