Farm-Fresh Eggs

...
...
...

We offer farm-raised, pastured eggs for sale. There is so much confusion about eggs among the general public because some of the labeling is misleading. For instance, the term 'free range' is quite misleading. For most folks, the term 'free-range' brings to mind thoughts of a hen wandering about the homestead or range freely, right? But actually, an egg can be labeled free-range as long as the hen can leave the laying house and go outside to a small, fenced area or pen. There is no difference in this and the hen staying in the laying house all day. On the other hand, a pasture-raised egg comes from a hen that is allowed to roam the pasture eating grass and catching insects, thus enjoying their natural food. This is what differentiates the pastured-raised egg from all the others and gives it the dark yellow/orange yolks and rich flavor.

Grass-Fed Beef

We sell halves, whole, and quarter beef as well as individual cuts and various bundle boxes. Whatever your beef needs are, we can assist you. Our steers are grass fed their entire life. In addition to grass, our steers are finished on a corn diet that gives the meat the marbling and tenderness that is so desirable. Our steers go to market between 24 and 30 months of age, allowing them to develop a superior carcass quality. Our steers usually dress around 760 lbs. hanging weight. The carcass hangs in a temperature and humidity-controlled environment for at least 14 days to allow the natural enzymes to age the meat, making it more tender and flavorful. Our beef is truly heavy aged beef!
